By caleb j. spivak+ on November 16, 2011
Steakhouse to replace perimeter area restaurant with second metro Atlanta location.
Wildfire restaurant will close its Perimeter area location Dec. 21, Lisa Schoolcraft with the Atlanta Business Chronicle first reported.
The steaks, chops and seafood restaurant first opened at 94 Perimeter Center West in 2006.
The Capital Grille, which has a location in Buckhead, plans to open its second Metro Atlanta location in Wildfire’s place, according to the report.
The Capital Grille should open sometime next year.

Better steak place right across the street at McKendricks. I dined at Wildfire. I won’t be dining at Capital Grille (unless of course one of our service providers is taking me out for a meal and they choose Capital Grille! LOL

Was about to make a recommendation for friends & discovered Wildfire is closed. It was a good restaurant so I’m a bit sorry, but there is so much competition for steakhouses in this part of town.
Fleming’s wins hands down, but then you also have Sage, McKendrick’s, McCormick & Schmick’s and Ruth’s Chris is not that far away.
